Anyone with a birthday between now and November 6th can make a huge contribution to your Giving Challenge campaign by setting up a Birthday Wish on Causes. Birthday Wish turns your cause members into super-fundraisers because it gives them the perfect opportunity to ask their friends to donate to their favorite cause in honor of their birthday, instead of giving them gifts they don’t need. See a great example here. For the Giving Challenge, a tool like this can significantly boost the number of donations to your cause.
Send this link out to your cause members: http://www.causes.com/birthdaywish and ask them to create a Birthday Wish for your nonprofit during the Giving Challenge. Better yet, go to the “Admin Center” on your cause and click the “Birthday Wish” tab. There you’ll find a customized link that creates a Birthday Wish that is automatically set to benefit your cause!

Hi Guys,
I have a Cause on Facebook called Children With AIDS Charity (C.W.A.C.) it is based in the U.K. Does the birthday wish tool work for non US/Canadian non-profit charities?
Best regards

I would like to ask people to donate to my cause instead of sending me gifts for the holidays. is there a way to set that up?
Thanks.
Lynn
The birthday application is extremely popular within our cause. Besides the emails, is there a way that we can track how many members donate their birthday to our cause and how many donations come in through each birthday wish?
We also would like to know if we can set up a Holiday Wish through the causes app?
Thanks,
Karen
