Start 2010 with a Charity Gift on Facebook!

Facebook | Charity Gift ShopGet going on your 2010 resolutions by making a difference and helping nonprofits change lives.  Causes now powers the Facebook Charity Gift Shop, which means you can send gifts to your friends’ Facebook profiles and the money will go to your favorite nonprofits.  Buy a Bed Net for a friend and Malaria No More will deliver one insecticide-treated net to protect a child in Africa from malaria.  Your purchase of a Healthy Baby Kit Gift will help the International Rescue Committee provide a baby delivery kit with a warm blanket for a child born in a crisis zone.  Not only will your friends appreciate hearing from you, but they will know that your donation went to a good cause.  Go to http://www.facebook.com/giftshop.php?gifts_app_id=2318966938 for a New Years gift, birthday present, or just to brighten a friend’s day in a way that helps people in need.

  7. Hi all,

We are currently in the pilot program of the Facebook Charity Gift store. We are thinking of eventually letting more nonprofits create charity gifts and will let everyone know once that is possible. Keep checking this blog for the latest updates!
