We’re excited to announce a few big changes to your cause page:
(For Cause Admins) Bulletin Publisher

The publisher makes it easier to post bulletins to your cause. There are 7 types of bulletins you can post:
- Update: For basic messages. Members will be asked to click “I Read This.”
- Invite: Members will be asked to invite their friends to the cause.
- Donate: Members will be asked to donate to your cause’s current fundraising project.
- Petition: Members will be asked to sign a petition.
- Video: Members will be asked to watch a video.
- Photo: Members will be asked to view a photo.
- Link: Members will be asked to go to a link.
For all 7 bulletin types, there’s a body field for space to update your cause members. Check the “Email This” box to email members of the cause who are subscribed to receiving emails.
(For Cause Admins) Feedback Tab

A handy Feedback tab now hangs out on the right side of your cause page. Click on the tab to share an idea, ask a question, or report a bug. This button also links to our forum on GetSatisfaction, which you can use to reach out to fellow admins and get in touch with the Causes team.
(For Everyone) Bigger Stats and Buttons

Users were having trouble finding the button to invite their friends (it blended too easily with the cause photo), so we moved it to a more visible place on the page. The donate button is also higher up and easier to spot.
These are just a few of the changes we have brewing to make your cause a better community for taking action, stay tuned for more!

nice changes
Whenever I click on the facebook link it just takes me to the home page. Is your app still there? I tried searching for it but couldn’t find anything. If you can e-mail me that would be awesome.

Awesome information here! I just recently joined a great non-profit in small town Lodi, CA. I created a Cause page but researched info here on the Non-profit section. Now we have a Non-profit page application waiting to be approved. I’m hoping this resource helps our non-profit earn funds and fans to continue serving our San Joaquin County at-risk population. Best wishes!
Absolutely nothing works. Even trying to “connect” to post a comment kicked back to home. Causes links on FB are all broken or go to home page. I have no more links on my fan pages and all previous link on my beneficiary’s sites are broken. How are we supposed to earn money for our causes when we can’t even access them?????
hhhhhhhhhhhhh
For those getting the home page when they try to access their causes,I had this problem, it’s because Facebook has reset everything, and you now have to go in manually to enable causes. Do this:
1) Log into Facebook
2) Go to the top left corner, and click account –> Account Settings
3) Click on privacy Settings
4) At the bottom middle click under “blocked lists” on “EDIT YOUR LISTS”
5) On that list find “Causes” and click “UNBLOCK” and voila, it will ask you for permission, click yes, and you’ll be back in business.
