The welcome note is a page that appears for every new member when they join your cause.  It’s your chance to welcome them to your community, thank them for joining, give them a bit of background, and fill them in on what to do next.  You also have the opportunity to show new members a video or a photo.   To set the welcome note for your cause, click “Edit Cause” which can be found under the cause photo if you are an administrator of the cause.  Click on the “Welcome Note” tab then type in your message and upload a video or photo.

TIPS

*Videos make very compelling introductions to a cause.  Add a video to give an introduction to what you do.

*Thank them for joining and tell them the one most important thing they can do to help your cause as they join.
